Student Clinic

The AAIMT Student Clinic is designed to give the student therapists experience working in a clinical environment. It is also an essential step in fulfilling their requirements for graduation from the Institute. The Student Clinic is located at the Institute, offers convenient parking and is handicap accessible.

Established as one of the finest learning experiences offered at the Institute, the Student Clinic administers massage therapy sessions under the direction of a supervisor, who is available at all times. Our students have received training in Swedish Massage, Therapeutic Relaxation Massage, Myofascial Therapies, and Shiatsu before starting their clinical internship. Their studies also include Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. In addition, our students can assist clients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.

Massages are offered at greatly reduced rates from those charged in a professional clinic, making the Student Clinic a valuable public service. The AAIMT Student Clinic is an outgrowth of our goal to help our students achieve professional excellence and success and is a key element in our effort to promote massage therapy within the broader community.
